What’s blog ping service and how to use it?

Actually I am very sick because I am suffering from fever. So it’s not really easy for me to write post. So today I am going to write a short post. Actually I wanted not to write any post today but one of my newbie readers asked me what is blog ping I mean blog pinging service. At first I thought its really silly idea to make a post on it. But then I realized it really could be a question to totally newbie people and it won’t take so much to write. Ok let’s see it

What is blog ping?

Well you already know search engine is a great way to get traffic. But major search engine like google, yahoo, Bing may not come index you post just after publish it. They maintain their own schedule. And ping is a tool which calls the search engine boot instantly to come up on your blog and index your new content. So whenever you will ping your blog that refer that you have just updated your blog and ping tools will notify all the search engine that your blog have something new and they should index it right now.

So in short we can say, ping is a tool which notifies all the major search engines that blog has been updated.

Why I will ping my blog?

I have already said what a ping tool does. You know most of the people use search engine to get any information on web. Well don’t you want that all major search engines will come to your blog just after posting any new content to your blog? I know I just want it. And I’m sure you too. So you should ping your blog when you just update your blog.

How to ping my blog?

If you are wordpress user they you may use plugin to do that. But every one can use ping their blog manually and its takes just 40 sec!!

Ok there are lots of ping tools in internet. But everyone shouldn’t more than one ping tools. Ok the best ping tool is pingomatic.com. Just go to that site pingomatic.com and just write your blog name, blog url and blog feed url and select service to ping and just click on send ping at the bottom. That’s it. Done!
