You may either download the issued certificate in the email delivered by Comodo (<a href=\"https:\/\/helpdesk.ssls.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/360019239011-Comodo-CA-rebrands-as-Sectigo\">now Sectigo<\/a>) or download it in your SSLs.com account following these&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/helpdesk.ssls.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/203199332-Can-I-download-certificate-somewhere-on-your-site-\">instructions<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to install the certificate, please follow the steps below.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Press Win + R and type \u201cinetmgr\u201d in the appeared window to run the Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.<\/li><li>On the IIS Manager home page, locate the \u201cServer Certificates\u201d icon and double-click it:<br><\/li><li>Locate the \u201cActions\u201d panel on the right side and click \u201cComplete Certificate Request\u201d:<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/helpdesk.ssls.com\/hc\/article_attachments\/115001237711\/iis2.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>4. In the \u201cSpecify Certificate Authority Response\u201d window, perform the actions below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>a) In the \u201cFile name containing the certification authority\u2019s response\u201d field, browse the file system to select your .p7b (or .cer) certificate.<br>b) In the \u201cFriendly name\u201d field, specify any name that will help you to identify the certificate among other files. It is best to submit the actual domain name of the certificate.<br>c) In the \u201cSelect a certificate store for the new certificate\u201d field, leave the default value \u201cPersonal\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/helpdesk.ssls.com\/hc\/article_attachments\/115001236532\/iis3.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>5. Click \u201cOK\u201d to import the certificate to the server storage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6. Once the import is completed, in the \u201cServer Certificates\u201d window, you will see a new entry associated with the imported certificate:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/helpdesk.ssls.com\/hc\/article_attachments\/115001236552\/iis4.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>7. Assign the certificate to your website by expanding the \u201cSites\u201d subsection in the \u201cConnections\u201d menu on the left and select the corresponding site. Then, in the \u201cActions\u201d panel on the right side, locate the \u201cEdit Site\u201d menu and select the \u201cBindings\u201d option:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/helpdesk.ssls.com\/hc\/article_attachments\/115001237791\/iis5.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>8. On the right side of the \u201cSite Bindings\u201d window, click \u201cAdd\u201d:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/helpdesk.ssls.com\/hc\/article_attachments\/115001236592\/iis6.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>9. In the \u201cAdd Site Binding\u201d window, modify the fields as below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>a) In the \u201cType\u201d field, select \u201chttps\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>b) In the \u201cIP address\u201d field, select your website\u2019s IP address or \u201cAll Unassigned\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>c) In the \u201cPort\u201d field, specify \u201c443\u201d (default).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>d) In the \u201cSSL certificate\u201d field, select the previously imported certificate, which can be identified by the friendly name:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/helpdesk.ssls.com\/hc\/article_attachments\/115001236632\/iis7.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>NOTE:&nbsp;<\/strong>The \u201cRequire Server Name Indication\u201d box needs to be checked if there are multiple SSL certificates on the server.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>10. Click \u201cOK\u201d in order for the new \u201chttps\u201d entry to appear in the \u201cSite Bindings\u201d window:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/helpdesk.ssls.com\/hc\/article_attachments\/115001236672\/iis8.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>That\u2019s all &#8211; the certificate should now be installed and the website should be accessible via HTTPS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The SSL installation status can be checked online via the SSL checker at&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/decoder.link\/sslchecker\">https:\/\/decoder.link\/sslchecker<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SSL installation in IIS 10 requires one certificate file with the .p7b (or .cer) file extension.
