Preparing to install cPanel & WHM<\/h2>\n

After successfully installing your operating system, you are ready to install cPanel & WHM or cPanel DNSONLY.<\/p>\n

To install this software, you must first:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Access your server. If you do not have physical access, you can connect to your server remotely via SSH.<\/li>\n
  2. Check your operating system’s configuration.<\/li>\n
  3. Obtain a cPanel license.<\/li>\n
  4. Run the installation commands.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Installing cPanel & WHM<\/h2>\n

    To install cPanel & WHM, run these commands:<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. cd \/home<\/code> \u2014 Opens the \/home<\/code> directory.<\/li>\n
    2. wget -N http:\/\/httpupdate.cpanel.net\/latest<\/code> \u2014 Fetches the latest installation files from cPanel’s servers.<\/li>\n
    3. sh latest<\/code> \u2014 Opens and executes the installation files.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      If licensing fails (due to a strict firewall or modified IP), run the command \/usr\/local\/cpanel\/cpkeyclt<\/code> to activate your cPanel & WHM license.<\/p>\n

      Installing cPanel DNSONLY<\/h2>\n

      To install cPanel DNSONLY, run these commands:<\/p>\n

      1. cd \/home<\/code> \u2014 Opens the \/home<\/code> directory.<\/li>\n
      2. wget -N http:\/\/httpupdate.cpanel.net\/latest-dnsonly<\/code> \u2014 Fetches the latest installation files from cPanel’s servers.<\/li>\n
      3. sh latest-dnsonly<\/code> \u2014 Opens and executes the installation files.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Getting started in WHM<\/h2>\n

        To access the WHM interface:<\/p>\n

        1. Enter https:\/\/$IP:2087<\/code> into your preferred web browser.\n
            \n
          • $IP<\/code> represents your server’s IP address.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
          • Enter root<\/code> into the Name<\/em> field.<\/li>\n
          • Enter your root password into the Password<\/em> field.<\/li>\n
          • Click Log In<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
