Do you check those before pushing publish button?

If you are blogger, you must publish post to your blog often. I have no exception too. I need to publish post like this often. I take time to research and writing post and when my post is complete I just can’t wait to publish. So many times I rushed to publish my post for that I made many mistake in past. But now I don’t because I made a checklist which I always check before hit publish button. Now I think I should share it with my reader my checklist. I hope it could be your check list too.

I always check the following things to make my reader happier with my blog.

I read my post at least 3 times
Now I understand if I can take time to write quality content so why I won’t take bit more time to make my post even better. So I always try to read my whole post at least 3 times. I know its not easy many people hate to read same again and again, me too. So I take more time when I read my final post for first time then I read last two times very quick. By doing this I got better idea many times. I got even better style to write my post when I read my post again and that makes my post more appealing.

I read my post as my reader and ask myself what I’ve learnt
When I will publish my post all of my reader will read my post. And every time I post a post on my blog I try to give some info to them. And I know that I am going to provide them so I read my post as my reader and then ask myself what I have got from this post. Then if I got what I am going to provide then I think its ok. I mean I make sure that I have made myself clear to my reader.


Spell and grammatical error
I always check my spelling to make myself totally correct. I know my English skill is not perfect so often I make so many mistakes grammatically. So I always try to avoid those two mistakes. I know I still make those mistakes but that’s very little. You should not to be 100% ok. But any reader find you are making those mistake too often then it will affect your reader.

Is my title appealing to my reader?
People don’t start your post at first they just read your title at first. If they find your title interesting just then they read your post. So a quality post doesn’t ensure that your post will be read by your reader. That’s why I always check my title carefully.

Have I used external source?
I need to take help from external source sometimes. So I check have I taken any help from external source. If I take then I make sure that I have link to my actual source. If I use image then I give credit to it.

Checklist For search engine

Though I give more value to my reader but I never for get about search engine as it provide me lots of traffic. So I check those things to make my search engine happy!!

Key word research
I use to do some keyword research before writing every post. That’s why I always get good amount of visitor from search engine. So every time I post a post I make sure that I have placed my keywords in my post properly.

Is my title SEO friendly?
Post title is really important for blog SEO so I make sure that I have used my keyword in my title properly. At the same time I try to make it acceptable to my readers.

Internal link
Internal linking affects SEO greatly. So every time I write a post I make sure that I have linked to my old related post with good anchor text. That’s not only help to get benefit for SEO but also helps my readers to stay in touch.

Use alt tag in my image
If I use image in my post then I make sure that I have used my keywords as my ALT tag.
